In practice, this means that for every 1,000 COP over the limit you will be taxed 4 COP.

If, once you’ve completed your Azimo transfer, you see that your recipient has received less than you expected, they should contact their bank in Colombia to clarify the reasons for this discrepancy.

Sending cash pick-up transfer to Cúcuta in Colombia

Before setting up your transfer to Cúcuta, please note that cash pick-up payments are currently not being accepted by most of the banks there. We are very sorry for the inconvenience caused by this situation, but are happy to say that there is one other option.

If you wish to send a cash pick-up transfer to Cúcuta, choose the bank Financiera Pagos Internacionales, which is currently accepting cash pick-up transfers.

Please note that if you choose to have the money sent to Financiera Pagos Internacionales, your recipient will need an appointment to collect it. To request an appointment, visit the bank’s website www.pagosinternacionales.com then scroll down and select the option “Pide tu cita”. You (or your recipient) will have the option to create a new appointment and/or cancel an existing one in case they cannot attend.

If you have already sent the cash pick-up transfer to Cúcuta and your recipient cannot collect it, please contact our Support Center to resend your money to a different bank or to cancel the payment.
