Azimo cuts money transfer rates to zero
1 JUNE 2014
Low-cost money transfer service slashes rates until the end of July
Azimo, the online money transfer service, has cut the cost of sending cash from Germany to 195 different countries across the globe.
Until 31 July 2014, customers who send money using the service, either to a bank account or to one of over 150,000 cash pick up points around the world, will pay nothing in fees.
Azimo provides a fast, safe, easy and cost-effective way to transfer money across borders.
The low-cost service already offered rates up to 85 per cent cheaper than many high street banks and traditional money transfer providers. Every year, people are wasting billions of dollars by paying over-the-top remittance fees with the likes of Western Union and MoneyGram. That’s something Azimo is addressing, making it simpler and cheaper than ever to transfer money to support families and communities abroad. That money may appear insignificant to some but in developing nations can literally change and save lives.
With some of the best exchange rates on the market, Azimo’s zero-rate promotion means there’s never been a better time to send money securely to friends or family overseas.
The promotion comes as Azimo launches its first television advertising campaign in Germany. The campaign runs on ProSieben, Kabel 1, Sky, until 9th June to the 6th July.
Michael Kent, founder of Azimo, said: “We’ve cut our rates in Germany to coincide with our first ever television advertising campaign in the country and we hope it will encourage more people to discover our service. As well as being the most cost-effective way to send money overseas, we guarantee the security of our transactions, meaning you can be 100 per confident when you use Azimo.”
