How Azimo Business works

Getting started with Azimo Business takes just a few minutes. The steps below explain how to set up an account and make a transfer.

Step 1: Create your account

Enter your business email address and desired password on the Azimo Business sign-up page.

If a friend has given you their invite code, tick the box that says “I have an invite code” and enter it here.

Step 2: Tell us about your company

Entering a few details about yourself and your business helps us to keep your account secure.

Your name, address, date of birth and business information help us to verify your identity. All your data is kept strictly confidential.

Step 3: Set up a transfer
You’re now ready to set up a transfer with Azimo Business. First, choose your receiving country, currency and delivery method.
Fill out recipient details
Next, tell us your recipient details, so that we know where to send the money. Take extra care to double-check bank account details.
Ready to send

Now tell us how much you want to send. You will be shown exactly how much of the local currency your recipient will receive.

As a welcome gift, your first five Azimo Business transfers are fee-free.

When you are ready, pay for the transfer by card or bank transfer. Cards must be in your name or in the name of your business.

Step 4: Verify your business (if required)

In certain circumstances we are legally required to verify some information about you and your organisation.

This is a short, simple process that involves submitting documents to our compliance team using the secure document uploader on the Azimo website or apps.

We will send the transfer as soon as the documents are verified.


The kind of document required depends on the circumstances, but it’s a good idea to have your company registration document and/or signed authorisation document to hand.
