You may have noticed that for us the holiday season was all about sharing.

That’s why we decided to celebrate by hosting a community event in partnership with a Nigerian church in south London. It all took place on the 12th of December at The Church Of The Everlasting Arms on Old Kent Road.

The invitation was shared with locals from the wider community, which meant people from West Africa, the Caribbean, and even Romania all came together to share food, laughter, dance, friendship and fun.

Of course, there were also a few Azimo people involved to ‘share’ the odd cake or two and give out some goodies. To see how much of a success it all was just check out our film.

Documentary film makers WhittyGordon partnered with us to create this short film. Their work draws upon many aspects of the human condition, like identity, diaspora and migration.

We’d also like to thank the team at Rich Promotions and Pastor Lola of The Church Of The Everlasting Arms who made the whole occasion possible.

Here’s to sharing.
